The owner's manual says to avoid "extreme weather". Can I ride my Pedego in the rain and use the battery? I thought the battery was safe from the wet. Please clarify. I want to take proper care of my baby. On the other hand, it'd kind of be limiting if this were only a fair-weather bicycle. For what it's worth, I have fenders. Thanks for your reply.

We do our best to make sure that our bicycles are water resistant. The best thing to do after getting caught in the rain is to wipe the bicycle down and dry any sitting water.
The fenders are also helpful from getting yourself wet on the ride too!

I don't ride in real downpours, but have driven the bike (on its carrier with battery detached) through many real gully-washers. I try to wipe them down afterwards, and have had no problems at all.
